​                                        Hello My name is Charles Shelton JR


I am a , left-handed drummer. I am known for my quick, but controlled, foot and hand speed. Being gifted with a special anointing, helps usher in the presence of the Lord to uplift and enhance services and/or performances. Being versatile benefits me tremendously, because different services and events require different styles of drumming. I credit my accomplished style to long daily practices, but mostly the spirit within that helps me feel the music. Being spiritually led, helps make my style different from other drummers. I have a special talent to skillfully make the drums talk with superior showmanship. In high school, I donated more than 5,000 hours of community service for various church services and events. My father still pastors, I am the main drummer and also play keys when I am needed. I have been playing the keys now for about 20 years. I am anointed and appointed by God to help usher in the spirit of praise and worship and help break down the walls of demonic strongholds by using various drum beats and music as I hear them from above (prophetically). The Lord has always had a calling on my life. I’ve been playing with spoons on tables, toys, pots & pans ever since I could sit up. It didn’t matter if I didn’t have anything to beat with or beat on – I’d play drums in the air! Some people thought I was crazy, but the Lord was preparing me to be his musician. Even from a early age, I have amazed people with the talent the Lord has given me.My father, Charles Shelton, Sr. is an Apostle and prophet. Not only is he anointed to play the organ and keyboard, but also ushers in the spirit of praise and worship through music and song. Together, we work to break down the walls and strongholds and praise the Lord until the Shekinah glory fills the temple. Recently he has been blessed with another talent of writing and composing music. His songs are featured on our DVD's. He has blessed me with a wonderful wife, named Gina. Not only is she an outstanding wife, but a powerful evangelist and singer. He has blessed us with a wonderful son. Gina has a great anointing that the Lord has blessed her with, and she enhances our work for the Lord tremendously. The three of us make up Prophetically Anointed & Appointed (PA&A). My interests include, family,  drumming, recording, playing the organ/keyboard, church, weightlifting, basketball, football, beach trips, my dog and, most importantly, serving the Lord. My father’s interests are preaching, church, playing the organ/keyboard, composing music, weightlifting, his wife and son, daughter n law and grandson. As a young Christian drummer, I am blessed and highly favored. Being born nearly 3 months prematurely, and weighing only 2 pounds and 15 ounces I was not expected to survive. Certainly, not achieve goals that I have accomplished. I am endorsed with the following great companies: Attack Drumheads, Beato Bags, DrumDial Tuner, Pearl Drums, Silverfox Drumsticks, and Zildjian Cymbals. Having the proper tools is a very important part of successfully accomplishing your drumming techniques. I take pride in playing durable products from wonderful companies, I love! Without them, accomplishing my unique sound would be nearly impossible!
