What an awesome drummer! I saw you yesterday, at Pastor Meade's. You were great. I like Sis Kim's playing, but you are the best. You are anointed from God and I love to hear people play with the anointing of God. I can not recall anyone playing under such a great anointing. I've heard the singing, but never on the drums. Praise the Lord - Jr. & Sr. Shelton: What a tremendous blessing to view your website. I love it! My spiritual daughter, Cindy, saw you on the Word Network and she suggested that I visit your website. I am so glad I did. I am helping to teach her to play the drums - and she is picking it up very well now. I have been playing the drums for approximately 20 years for my home church, Brooklyn Miracle Temple. Being a female drummer was no easy task. It was the Lord, through His Holy Spirit, that taught me how to play because no one was willing to take the time to teach me. Through much blood, sweat and tears, the Lord anointed my playing and brought me to a place of being a drummer that played tight and "in the pocket". As the years went by, I received many compliments, in which I would promptly give the credit to God because He brought me from a long, long way. Just recently, the Lord let me know that my "season" was up for playing the drums full-time, as He has been showing me that He is calling me to another part of ministering through teaching His Word. But I still humbly offer my help to those who desire to learn the drums because I want to pass on to others what God was wonderful enough to give to me. I wish that I could have seen or met you when I first started to play - but nevertheless I am encouraged to see how God has tremendously blessed you and your dad to play so beautifully together in the 4 clips that I viewed. Good evening Charles, My name is Jennifer Willis and I myself am a left handed drummer for my church and my sister plays the keyboard. Over this past weekend, my sister saw your show, and recorded it for me to see. When I saw it, I was captivated. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I know it was the Lord who guided my sister for me to see you. I thanked him for the guidance to see such a gifted person, who like me, is left Handed as well. I've always have wanted to play the drums ever since I was 9 years old. But of course, my mother wouldn't hear such a thing, being a female. I woke up in the early morning hours to The Word Network and saw you on there. The first thing I noticed was that you were drumming with your left foot, which immediately told me you were left-handed. My three-year-old son, Seth, is left-handed and loves the drums. He beats on any and everything using any two stick-like objects that is in his reach. I was wondering if he would have to play a set of drums that are normally set up for a right-handed drummers, but I see he can play without compromising his left-handedness. I just brought him a electronic drum set and told my husband set it up for a left-handed person. I will be purchasing your DVD real soon. Keep up the awesome job you are doing. I attended your awesome drum clinic at the Guitar Center. How wonderful it was! I was really amazed at your talent. Not being a church musician, didn't know quite what to expect. I'm glad it wasn't a church services, however, it was like a real drum clinic. Thank you, for the great, great clinic. I really learned a lot and I thank you for your personal one on one training. Finding out a few tricks also, surely will also help me out, in my playing as well. Thanks again, and please come back to Knoxville soon. I always check out all the clinics in the area. Your techniques are just off the wall! I've found I can add some of your wonderful moves to enhance my playing too.
